How CatMiner works
A time-based miner. Cats produce ore every second, ore turns into ETH or into more cats. Every number below is enforced by the contract, nothing else.

Hire cats
Send ETH, get cats. Each cat digs 1 ore every second, forever. Your ore bag holds one day of digging, so come back daily.

Compound
Turn ore into more cats: 86 400 ore hires one cat. More cats, more ore, more ETH. Compounding is where the growth is.

Cash out
Sell your ore for ETH whenever you want. It is paid from the mine balance through a bonding curve, minus the 7% fee.

Recruit
Share your link. 15% of every compound your recruits make lands in your bag, and the leaderboard ranks you for it.
Nutrition facts
The daily return is the miner constant: one cat costs 86 400 ore and produces 86 400 ore per day, so a full bag is worth 1/12.5 of what the cats cost, about 8%. The ETH value of that ore moves with the mine balance.
The math, honestly
Ore is bought and sold on a bonding curve against the ETH held by the contract. The formula is the original Baked Beans one, unchanged:
trade(rt, rs, bs) = PSN * bs / (PSNH + (PSN * rs + PSNH * rt) / rt) PSN = 10 000, PSNH = 5 000 buy : ore = trade(eth, contractBalance, marketOre) sell: eth = trade(ore, marketOre, contractBalance)
- When the mine grows, your ore is worth more ETH. When many people cash out, it is worth less.
- Selling adds ore back to the market and lowers the price for everyone. Compounding removes it and adds only 20% of the used ore to the market, which nerfs hoarding.
- Your bag caps at 24h. Cats keep digging but the bag holds one day of ore. Compound or cash out at least once a day.
- The referrer is locked on your first action and never changes. Self-referral is ignored.
What the owner can and cannot do
- Can lower or raise the fee up to a hard cap of 10%, and change the fee receiver.
- Cannot withdraw the mine balance, pause the game, change the curve or edit any player balance. There is no such function.
- Everything is public: players, referrals, volumes and payouts are readable straight from the contract, which is how the leaderboard works.

Rewards are paid from other players' deposits. This is a game of timing and recruiting. Only put in what you can afford to lose.
